Dr. Lemley grew up in Miller Place, Long Island, NY. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1999, he went to Upstate Medical University. His surgical internship and residency began in 2003 at the West Virginia University Department of Orthopaedics, where he had the distinction of being named Resident Teacher of the Year in 2008. In addition to his daily case load at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists, Dr. Lemley is a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
