Dr. Walter Short, a founding partner of the SOS H+W Center, will be a featured presenter at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons annual meeting being held February 15-19 in San Diego, CA at the San Diego Convention Center. Dr. Short was invited to speak at the conference’s “Specialty Day,” which is set aside for scientific programs presented by organizations that are members of the Board of Specialty Societies. This day long course, titled “Tough Questions in Hand Surgery: Challenging Convention and Solutions from the Masters,” is sponsored by the American Society for Surgery of the Hand & the American Association for Hand Surgery. Dr. Short will serve as a featured lecturer during the day-long course, which will examine a wide variety of difficult problems in hand surgery ranging from delayed tendon repair to complex fractures. Speakers will challenge “conventional wisdom” and illustrate their insight for evaluating and treating these problems. For more information on the conference, please click here.
